The main focus of the Truck and Trailer Rental Controller is to support the Rental, Maintenance and Finance Departments by playing a pivotal part of our rental operation, ensuring vehicles are maintained using our in house systems.
Key Responsibilities
Manage customer bookings from the initial booking inquiry through to delivery
Ensuring all rental paperwork is completed accurately
Inputting data into the in house rental system
Checking trucks and trailers in and out
Processing PCN’s and toll crossings
Booking vehicles in for servicing, MOT’s, and warranty work
Ensuring insurance and operator’s license documents are accurate and present
Arranging vehicle/trailer deliveries and collections to and from our customers premises
Working closely with the rental manager and fleet team to ensure all vehicles are compliant, clean, tidy and ready for rental
To capture damage on return equipment-notifying customers and sending repair estimates
Chasing rental order numbers
Knowledge and Attributes
Vehicle Rental and/or fleet management experience is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.
Problem solving, a ‘can do’ attitude, and the ability to work in a highly busy environment
Time management and ability to prioritise workloads
Data management
Excellent verbal, written, & IT skills

One in four Saturday’s from 08.00-12.00
Salary: £20,000.00-£26,000 per year depending on experience and skill set
20 days holiday per year plus loyalty bonus on 2 year anniversary
